Life is GOOD!! We got to visit the young adults of Empower You. These hard workers have been volunteering their time for Red Glasses Movement for over a year. They count, organize, pin/unpin our Red Glasses and RGM pins. We are SO grateful for the work that they do and for the relationships we are forming with them. These pictures just show a few of the awesome humans that have been working with us. Can you feel the love?? Our World Down Syndrome Day was spent celebrating the launch of a book called ✨SHINE ON!✨written by the unwavering, Maria Bostic and illustrated by the imaginative, Sarah Jane Parker . An unintended but fantastic side effect of this book launch was the feeling that you are swimming in love and joy that comes from a coffee shop ( )full of peeps with Down syndrome and those that love them. This book celebrates the intentional creation of every human being by God, INCLUDING those with DS. Our Audrey is lucky enough to be one of the 12 stars with Down syndrome illustrated in the book. Stay tuned for how to order. Thank you Maria for answering the call to create this piece of beauty and truth❤️.
