Helping Hands Mission Thrift We are a locally based thrift store with community in mind. 🫶🏻 The first half in Grand Rapids and then moving to Southern Georgia almost eight years ago.

Helping Hands Mission Thrift Store has been an established Christian Non-Profit organization for fifteen years. Sue Ketchel has dedicated her heart and soul to the love of this mission and it’s goals. We appreciate her efforts of good faith and will miss her upon her eventual retirement. She will stay on for a time as the President of the organization and as a consultant as we embark in this excit

ing transition. We at Helping Hands Mission Thrift Store believe that the greatest good starts at home. Because of this, we will be donating our proceeds to local homeless charities. We have chosen Westown Jubilee Housing as our local Mission and are happy to be working with them! Check out their website at: www.wjhousing.org It is our mission to ensure that everyone in our community is given a second chance in life and will do anything in our power to help see that through. We are working to establish some long term relationships with consignment shop donors as well as private donors to ensure lasting assistance in our community. We are a non-profit organization, and are in need of regular donors both financially and for new or gently used clothing/goods of all kinds. We offer tax deduction slips for any donations we receive as well as offer a pick up service. Thank you,

11 years ago today, we opened our doors for the first time! It's been a wild ride so far and it's can't wait to see what the next 11 years brings!

*Open Tuesday-Thursday 13-6pm this week and we will all be taking a long weekend, closed Friday and Saturday.

July 27, 2015 was the first day we opened for business. Can y’all believe it’s our 11th anniversary here on West Leonard?!?!! We have made some great friends and learned A LOT!! I wouldn’t trade a single minute of it for anything! We feel that our neighbors and customers are like an extension of family, and we love you all for it! Thank you so very much for continuing to support our mission to help the unhoused and underserved communities. We won’t stop unless the need stops. Here’s to another 11+ years!!!

*the following weekend, 7/31-8/1 we will be closed for respite.
