We are going to take today to thank our 5th Street Board members and our Pulaski Days Committee members!
There is so much behind the scenes work that goes on to make sure that the volunteers are set up for success. Thank you for the extra hours, early mornings, late nights and times in between.

If you are curious about our board, our membership meeting in on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. This month’s meeting is on October 21st at 7pm. You must be a member in good standing with their dues up to date to attend. We also encourage any new members to come and be sworn in and see what hall life is about!

We are going to take a couple days to thank everyone involved in Pulaski, and we’re going to start here.

Thank you to all the volunteers and our security team.
The ones showing up to meetings months before.
The ones filling spots last minute when things get wild.
The ones that are working year round for Pulaski, dinners, breakfasts, decorating, cleaning, and prepping.

Theses are people continuing tradition and community.

If you are a member, ask your board or bartender about volunteering next year or volunteering for a different event.

Thank you to each member that volunteered in any way. Thank you for spending time on our biggest fundraiser of the year to take care of the hall

From the bottom of our hearts, dziękuję / thank you 🤍❤️

This year’s Pulaski Days celebration was one to remember — the laughs, the polkas, the food, the music, the people, the drinks, the events — all of it! And our community showed up in full force. 🇵🇱

Our 13 Polish halls were filled with Pulaski Days patrons, including longtime members and first-time visitors, and several halls even welcomed new members into their hall communities this weekend. Dziękuję to everyone who came out, celebrated with us, and supported our halls!

To all of the volunteers, bartenders, food service volunteers, bands, security volunteers, hall boards, and everyone working behind the scenes to keep this celebration going smoothly: dziękuję for showing Grand Rapids what it means to be Polish! We are so grateful for the strong Polish-American community we have both inside and outside of our halls. Without your time, service, and dedication, this celebration simply wouldn’t happen (and certainly wouldn’t be what it is today).

This weekend was a reminder of exactly what it means to be Rooted in Pride, United Inside ❤️🤍💙
