📜 Benita Hopkins (Oakland-SF Bay 2015) was recognized by the California State Assembly for her dedicated work in the fight against human trafficking—making outstanding contributions to the San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking (SFCAHT).

When asked why she does this work, Benita reflected: “Where I live is one of the 13 major hotspots for trafficked youth and the average age of entry is very young for girls and boys…so, it's not an 'over there' problem, but right here too.”

👏 Join us in congratulating and encouraging Benita in her work to serve and empower vulnerable urban communities!
