We’ll open with space to share and connect, then move through a 30-minute class taught by designed for all bodies and backgrounds. You can be sober-curious, in recovery, supporting someone you love, or simply enjoy being with sober community.

Join Kelly Anne for an open recovery meeting followed by a free, all-levels barre & Pilates class — welcoming anyone seeking, living in, or supporting sobriety.

Kelly is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Certified Wellness Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer with over 20 years of experience in human services — she brings both professional expertise and genuine compassion to every space she holds. 🫶🏻

Each session opens with a community conversation where you’re invited to share, listen, or simply be present, followed by movement designed for all bodies and experience backgrounds. Whether you’re in recovery, sober-curious, or supporting a loved one, you are welcome here!✨

This class is offered in partnership with Smoke Crest Farm Rescue and Animal Sanctuary — a peaceful, healing space dedicated to the care of rescued animals and the people who love them. 🐾

What an honor to join Unite to Face Addiction Michigan at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing last week, surrounded by so many incredible advocates, organizations, and people in recovery!

We are so grateful for the invitation to share The Recovery Barre’s story — how movement, community, and joy can be woven into the sober journey, and why free access to both should never be a barrier.

We believe that when people feel seen, supported, and uplifted in their bodies and in their communities, they stay connected to the things that sustain their sobriety long term.

Days like Thursday remind us that we are not alone in that belief. Together, we are just getting started! 🙌🏽

🎉 NEW Grand Rapids class! Join Annika Thatcher on the fourth Thursday of every month at Console Counseling, starting Thursday, April 23rd at 6 PM! No registration required—class is free or donation-optional, and mats are provided. 🫶🏼

A major support behind our mission mission, Annika brings lived experience in recovery, is currently pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cornerstone, serves on The Recovery Barre’s nonprofit leadership board, and assisted Fit Pro Programming during the program’s very first presentation at SCW Mania Fit Pro conference in Chicago.

Annika has a huge heart for building this special community, and anyone who joins her is sure to heave a warm, joyful, and welcoming experience! 🫶🏼
