James is a member of the Pokot, a Southern Nilotic tribe, who live in West Pokot, Kenya. Earlier today, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia. It's estimated to have killed at least 111 people while crumbling buildings and trapping people in the rubble. Please join us in praying for the country of Colombia and her people. We pray for everyone who has been impacted by this disaster and all of those helping on the ground in whatever ways they can.

We've been in contact with RCA missionaries Andrew and Amy Fields and they and their seminary are safe and unimpacted by the quake.

Lord, hear our prayers. 🙏

Mission is our thing, but we've added a new skill to our toolbelt: matchmakers! 💍

In January 2025, Marie Johnson and Elias LaChonce attended Mission 2025 through young adult scholarships. While there, they were inspired by mission, but also they began a friendship that would morph over the next year and a half into a long-distance dating relationship and now engagement. Congrats to Marie and Elias on your engagement! We're beyond excited for you! 💕
