Grand Rapids Bar Association Incorporated in 1902, the Grand Rapids Bar Association (GRBA) is known for its high level of professionalism and civility.

The GRBA's mission is to promote justice, professional excellence and respect for the law, foster the dignity and integrity of the profession, provide law related services to the community, and serve the needs of our members. It is an association in which those qualities are the norm and lawyers who lack them are the exception. It also enjoys a climate in which lawyers and judges work together to improve the delivery of legal services.

We were proud to partner with the 61st District Court to celebrate Law Day with students from Ottawa Hills High School! All of the students participate in the 3Rs Program, which focuses on their Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities, and is led by local judges and lawyers.

This week, students visited the 61st District Court for Law Day, bringing their learning to life and gaining a deeper understanding of the justice system. Students also took part in an essay contest on “The Rule of Law and the American Dream,” with top winners announced at the event.

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible and to supporters of the Justice Foundation of West Michigan for helping us bring impactful programs like this to our community!
