Tickets available for purchase at https://grys.org/concerts/ and onsite starting at 2:00pm, doors to the hall open at 2:30pm, concert begins at 3:00pm. Educators with students in the program can get your free tickets at the door🎶

We're officially a full month in to our 2025-26 Season! Our youth ensembles are sounding great under the batons of new GRYS Music Director Dr. Joel Schut and the fabulous Kristen Shoup. Tickets for the season are available on our website or by calling the GRS box office- join us on November 23rd for an afternoon of Vivaldi, Telemann, Verdi, and Tchaikovsky!

Composed in April 1776, when Mozart was just 20 years old, this concerto showcases the young composer's burgeoning mastery in the genre of the piano concerto. Mozart did not write cadenzas for this concerto, which is typical for many of his early concertos. Performers often choose cadenzas written by other composers or create their own to showcase their technical and interpretive skills. It remains a favorite among both performers and audiences for its lyrical melodies and clear, classical beauty. First performed in June 1941 at the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow, Masquerade was commissioned as incidental music for a production of Mikhail Lermontov's play of the same name. The play, written in 1835, is a classic of Russian literature, dealing with themes of deception, betrayal, and societal superficiality.
