Last Saturday, April 18th, we proudly hosted our first annual Grow Your Own Path Conference — a day dedicated to empowering the next generation of women in business through connection, confidence, and career growth.

We were honored to collaborate with Central Michigan University and Michigan State University, bringing together driven students from across Michigan for a day of learning, networking, and inspiration.

A special thank you to our incredible keynote speaker, Natalia Kovicak, for sharing her insight and encouraging attendees to create their own path to success.

We are also incredibly grateful for our company sponsors whose support helped make this event possible.

Huge thank you to all of our graduating seniors for being a part of WIB & sharing such helpful, meaningful pieces of advice last night. We will miss everyone & can't wait to see what all of these wonderful ladies are going to accomplish!

To recap, WIB enjoyed a mocktail bar & presentation of senior superlatives as we said goodbye to our senior members. This was the last meeting of the semester, and we can't wait to see what's in store for the Fall of 2026! We hope everyone's final exams, presentations, and capstones go well. Last night’s Shark Tank was all about creativity, innovation, and bringing ideas to life! It was incredible to see the collaboration within our cohorts, with everyone sharing new ideas and pitching them in unique and creative ways. We loved seeing everyone’s energy and teamwork shine through in each pitch!

As we wrap up the semester, don’t forget that next week is our final meeting! Join us as we celebrate our graduating seniors at our Senior Sendoff. We can’t wait to see you there!

Join us for our last cohort meeting of the semester with an exciting Mini Shark Tank event this Wednesday at 6pm!

This meeting is all about innovation, creativity, and identifying unique market opportunities. Each cohort will work together to pitch their best ideas for a chance to win a treat basket filled with things like skincare and Alani drinks!

This will also be our second-to-last meeting of the semester, followed by our Senior Sendoff! The dress code is casual. Can't wait to see you there!
