Last Thursday's Grand Rapids Polo Club Opener Benefitting BCDB was one for the books and it's all because of YOU‼️

We heard from so many people that it was their very first polo match. Some came dressed to impress, some brought incredible tailgate setups, some brought their dogs, some brought the whole family, and one birthday girl even chose to celebrate with us! 🌼

Everywhere we looked, people were laughing, connecting, cheering, and simply enjoying a beautiful Michigan evening together. The Grand Rapids Polo Club shared that it was the largest crowd they've ever had at a match, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Most importantly, your support helps us continue providing vocational training, employment, and community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities right here in West Michigan.

🌟🌟 SPOTLIGHT SUNDAY 🌟🌟 Say hello to Jeffry!

Jeffry comes to Beer City Dog Biscuits on Tuesday afternoons with Imara House and is a wonderful part of our kitchen team. He does a great job filling our dog biscuit molds and helping us keep the biscuits coming! 🦴

Jeffry lives in Kent County and has an older sister who serves as his guardian. Outside of BCDB, he enjoys working on puzzles and building with K’NEX construction sets. He’s also a big movie fan. His favorite movie is Beetlejuice, and he's always happy to watch anything starring Michael Keaton.

Jeffry enjoys listening to country music, with Alan Jackson at the top of his playlist. Some of his go-to foods include pizza, BBQ ribs, and spaghetti 🤤

Fun fact: Jeffry is a muscle car enthusiast and knows quite a bit about them. His favorite? Chevys, of course!

We asked Jeffry which task he enjoys most at BCDB and he said filling molds. Lately he's also been learning how to fill sample bags, too 🙌 We love seeing him grow his skills and confidence in the kitchen! Just look at that picture of him proudly holding the sample bags he finished 💕

We’re so grateful to have you in the kitchen with us, Jeffry. Keep up the great work! 🌟🌟
