GAME NIGHT IS ALMOST HERE!

We’ve got a fun night planned with trivia, food, prizes, a costume contest, therapy dogs, and a silent auction. All benefiting Victim Services.

Our annual fundraiser helps support initiatives such as the upcoming facility dog program, the work of the Volunteer Advocate Team, and community programming.

Costumes are encouraged!
Drinks will be available for purchase.

We Will Never Forget
Officer Robert Kozminski
End of Watch: July 8, 2007

Kozminski was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance at a home on Emerald Ave NE.

Kozminski responded to a call of a man with a gun threatening to shoot others at the location. Shortly after arriving, he was shot when he went to the rear of the residence to establish a perimeter. Unknown to him, the suspect was lying in wait in the garage at the rear of the residence where he ambushed Kozminski, shooting him through the closed garage door.

Officers were able to reach Kozminski and carried him to a police cruiser. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his wounds.

Kozminski had served with the Grand Rapids Police Department for 7 years.
