YPCC is back! Over the last 3 years, the conference convened over 600 young professionals of color on a virtual platform. While this allowed us to keep this event going in difficult times, we are thrilled to return to an in-person session and give our attendees the full conference experience, including the opportunity to make connections and build community.

The National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) is hosting their 2022 Forum event at DeVos Place next week, March 30th - April 2nd. The West Michigan Chapter of NFBPA is the host chapter for this year's conference and they are looking for volunteers for the conference and for two off-site conference-related networking events.

NFBPA is a national organization that serves as a catalyst for linking public and private organizations, as well as academic institutions to support the professional development of African-Americans choosing public service careers.

Overall this conference is a great opportunity to network with people from across the country as NFBPA is a national organization. The conference and the events are NOT limited to people who identify as Black/African American, ALL are welcome. Also, do not think that you need to work within the public administration field to participate. There will be attendees that work in a variety of industries at these events who are looking to network and possibly find talent.
