• Abbeville Housing Authority, Eufaula Housing Authority, Dothan Housing Authority, and Russellville Housing Authority are all accepting Section 8 HCV applications at this time .
• Eufaula’s waiting list is explicitly open on the authority’s official site .
• Dothan previously posted a short July 2025 window, but as of today appears open or possibly reopened .

➡️ Action: Visit each local PHA’s official website to apply online or request a paper application now.

🏞 Montana – Statewide Reopened July 1, 2025
• The Montana Department of Commerce reopened its statewide Section 8 HCV waiting list on July 1, 2025 at 8 a.m. after being paused since August 2024 .
• The waitlist is divided by 10 regional areas—select the region that serves you. Applications are available online via the Commerce website .

➡️ Action: Go to the Montana Department of Commerce website and apply to one of the regional lists.

🪨 Rhode Island – Centralized Statewide Portal
• Rhode Island operates a statewide centralized Section 8 waiting list, open continuously since June 6, 2019, and still accepting applications online via www.waitlist‑centralri.com .
• The portal covers nearly all housing authorities in the state—Providence, Pawtucket, East Providence, and more .

➡️ Action: Register or login on waitlist-centralri.com to submit your application for multiple PHAs statewide.

Check for available units at RI Housing in Providence, RI. View floor plans, photos, and community amenities. Make RI Housing your new home.
