We are so proud to share this incredible piece of artwork created by one of our very own players, Sam B! ❤️🖤

Sam took the heart of GYF—the players, the coaches, the families, the rink, and the love of the game—and brought it all together in this amazing piece. From the little details to the big picture, this artwork truly captures what Griffins Youth Foundation is all about.

It’s pretty special when our players don’t just wear the GYF logo… they help bring it to life. ❤️

Thank you, Sam, for sharing your talent with us! We absolutely love it! 🏒🎨

8:46 AM, September 11, 2001.
25 years ago, our country changed.
2,977 people were killed, and thousands more were injured.
An untold number aided in rescue, relief, and recovery.
Today, we pause to honor and recognize the impact the attack had on our country and remember the lives taken.
May you never be forgotten.

With deeply saddened hearts, we mourn the loss of one of our own, Freddie. ❤️🏒

Freddie spent many years playing hockey with the Griffins Youth Foundation, where he created countless memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Hockey was more than just a sport to Freddie—it was a place where he found joy, built friendships, and became part of a family.

He loved his coaches and teammates, and they loved having him as part of their team. His presence, his passion for the game, and the memories he shared with those around him will never be forgotten.

Freddie will be deeply missed by his coaches, teammates, and the entire Griffins Youth Foundation family. While our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the years, memories, and moments we were fortunate enough to share with him.

Rest peacefully, Freddie. You will always be part of our hockey family. 🏒❤️

Forever #16. 🕊️
