Congratulations AQ! Way to work hard and make things happen for our alma mater!

We are excited to announce that Aquinas finished second in our category in the Stanley Security grant contest and will receive $25,000 to help us keep the Aquinas campus secure. A big thank you goes out to all of the students, faculty, staff and alumni who voted! It is because of your willingness to support AQ by voting often, and encouraging others to vote, that we were able to hold our own against the 40 other schools in our category, some of which were three times our size. It is the support of the Aquinas Community and our friends and family that made this grant possible!

Calling all students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends! Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan has been nominated for a “Together For Safer Schools” grant from Stanley Security. Should Aquinas win, we will be awarded up to $100,000 in installed security products and services to help keep our students, faculty, staff and campus safe. Aquinas College has unique security needs based on our park like setting within the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Recognizing the importance of always reviewing security procedures, software and hardware Aquinas College, in collaboration with the Student Senate, has formed a Safety Committee to help prioritize safety and security needs for our campus. It is the Aquinas community’s desire to upgrade, maintain and expand our current security system. The funds are awarded to the schools that receive the most votes between January 9 and February 12, with voters being allowed to vote daily. Please help us keep our students, faculty, staff and visitors safe by casting your vote for Aquinas College!
