Prayers are needed for peace in Haiti. Kenyan police have arrived in Haiti to help push back the gangs but are clearly outnumbered by the gangs. They have pushed the gangs away from the airport so it is now reopened. We still cannot travel to Haiti but we are able to continue our support efforts.

Today, a young missionary husband and wife were killed by gangs in Haiti. Please join us in praying for the families of this young couple and the people of Haiti.

Hopefully when the Kenya troops arrive in Haiti they will succeed in bringing peace back to Haiti.

HAITI IN TURMOIL!

Today, Haiti is in political turmoil because the government has ceased to operate since the president was assassinated several years ago by hired mercenaries.

The gangs have taken control of Port au Prince and continue to spread out into the countryside causing Haitians to not be able to get their crops to the market. Because the farmers are unable to sell their crops, they have little money to feed their families and to purchase seed for the next crop.

The Bishop of Jacmal, who I know and work with, has identified two villages that he needs to immediately help with food and seed to get them through this challenging time.

Haiti Needs You will be sending funds to the Bishop of Jamal to help him with this emergency humanitarian aid to help save lives.

Haiti has another earthquake.

Both quakes were centered on Haiti's southern peninsula, west of the capital, Port-au-Prince, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
