The ARC serves as a beacon of hope for adults seeking to overcome challenges such as substance use and other life difficulties. Through a free, 180-day residential work therapy program, participants receive support that focuses on their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

One of the unique aspects of the program is that proceeds from The Salvation Army's thrift stores help fund these life-changing services. Every donation and purchase helps provide hope, healing, and a fresh start for those on their journey to recovery.

An evening at Heartside Park is about more than handing out supplies. It’s about showing up, connecting with people, and supporting the community in a meaningful way. ❤️

This week, we served 65 individuals, distributed 50 personal care kits, and shared snacks and waters, generously donated by EDS.

These moments matter because building relationships helps people feel seen, valued, and connected. That sense of connection can make an impact that lasts far beyond one evening.

Unexpected energy costs can create significant financial stress, but help is available.

The Salvation Army's Energy Assistance Services (EAS) works alongside eligible households experiencing energy crises by providing bill payment assistance, enrollment in energy company subsidy programs, and case management services. The goal is to help individuals and families achieve greater financial stability while working toward their personal goals.

If you or someone you know is struggling to pay their energy bills, please share the link below to learn more about available resources. No one should have to face these challenges alone.

With the help of generous donors and energy companies, we provide help to those at risk of utility shut-offs.
