ArtPrize — an annual art competition and cultural festival — took place in Grand Rapids, Mich., from Sept. 18 to Oct. 3. Some notable moments this year included the involvement of Bryan Cranston and the breaking of a Guinness World Record.

West Michigan Hip Hop, in collaboration with ArtPrize and AllArtWorks, hosts Dirty Digits, a visual art show celebrating the journey of street art with graffiti art and culture as the centerpiece. The “dirty digits” of writers across the world symbolize the risk, dedication, and desire to be seen that writers possess within their subculture. The shape of a hand represents Michigan. The show chronicles the stages of graff culture through a variety of mediums, styles, and materials used by a collection of writers and aerosol artists across Central and West Michigan.

The show will be up Sep 21-27, 2026 at AllArtWorks Viewing Studio (333 Cesar E. Chavez Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503) with viewing from 6-9pm daily and the artist reception on Sunday Sep 27, 2026 from 6-9pm.

FREE to the public.

Dear Volunteers,

We have a quick, high-impact volunteer opportunity coming up this Saturday, and we could use a few extra hands!

We are looking for 2 to 4 volunteers to help load event materials from our storage unit into a U-Haul and unload them at the ArtPrize Clubhouse.
