First week of Club was a massive SUCCESS!

We saw kids from all walks of life come together and learn about who Jesus is. Along the way, we played games, raffled off some prizes, and did some goofy skits along the way. We are so excited to see how God will use Younglife and Wyldlife to bring students in NWGR to come to know him. Please continue praying for this ministry❤️

If you have any interest in contributing to this ministry by hosting Club (Program night)/Campaigners (Bible Study), becoming a donor, or just learning more about what we have going on, please feel free to PM us on facebook or you can email us at [email protected]

UPDATE: We are excited to welcome Ethan Rycenga as the new Area Director for Northwest Grand Rapids Young Life!

Ethan is originally from the Grandville area and was a Young Life student and then a leader in the Grand Rapids Southwest area. After high school, he went out of the area for college, where he studied education. He became a high school teacher in Arizona after graduating, and now holds a master's degree in Education. He and his wife Kaitlyn decided to make the move back to Michigan with their daughter Evalynn to be near family. Kaitlyn has her master's degree in Psychology and currently works as a Health and Wellness Coach.

Ethan brings a deep passion for Jesus, a heart for adolescents, and a commitment to building meaningful relationships with students, volunteers and community partners. As he steps into this role, he will be leading the vision of bringing the hope of Christ to students in the Northwest Grand Rapids area.

Please join us in praying for Ethan as he begins this new chapter. Pray for wisdom as he leads, for strong connections with local leaders and families, for the growth of volunteer teams, and for countless opportunities to share the love of Jesus with middle and high school students at Comstock Park, Kenowa Hills, and Sparta school districts.

If you see Ethan around, be sure to introduce yourself and give him a warm Young Life welcome!

We're grateful for what God has in store and can't wait to see how He works through Ethan's leadership.
