Thanks for the great lunch out at 5 Beer Pub in Byron Center! It was wonderful to see everyone's face, especially our newest participants who took the leap and attended for the first time. The food was great and the people were fabulous!🍔🥗🍟

“Happy New Year to all WPS participants! But then again, how can it be “Happy” while you’re grieving the death of your spouse? This is your invitation to join us online on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. to discuss the topic “New Year! New You?” We are all likely in the process of closing out the Christmas and New Year’s holidays for another year. Saying goodbye to last year might be fairly simple for most of you if you consider the huge negative impact Covid-19 has had on us this past year! But what’s a lot harder is having to say a goodbye to your spouse because of his/her death, and now working on accepting that your partner is truly in the past, no longer present except in memories. That’s tough stuff to deal with!

Join Susan Zonnebelt-Smeenge – psychologist and Bob DeVries – pastor for a New Year look forward to 2022 to see what’s ahead on your own unique grief journey so you can “get to the other side” of grieving.”
