Calvin University Student Senate Results focused, student centered, collaborative approach. Meetings every Monday at 4:30. All students are welcome!

Student Senate has two main goals: to represent student opinion and to improve student life by working on initiatives. Calvin has nearly 40 faculty governance committees that each oversee a specific topic, such as sustainability, core, and diversity & inclusion at Calvin. We appoint students to sit on these committees and make sure that the opinions of students are taken into account when decisions are being made. We also work on projects and initiatives, which can range anywhere from being a physical renovation to campus, changes in school policies, class requirements, or resources, and events. A few things that we have worked on in the past year are extending open house hours, installing a flag display to show appreciation to our diverse student body, and fundraising for a fire pit to be built on campus. Check out our website for more information on what we're working on and how you could get involved!

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Make your voice heard by filling out the 2026 Student Senate Survey! This is your chance to share your thoughts on campus life, resources, academics, and everything in between. The survey is anonymous, and we value your honest feedback. We can’t help you if you don’t help us. Our senators are working on projects right now, and your answers shape which ones we take on and what concerns we bring to administration. It only takes 5 minutes!

You can find the survey through the link in our bio or at
