This past July, a team traveled to Cuba to participate in the Christian Reformed Church of Cuba’s annual Music Academy. Hillside helped establish the Music Academy starting in 2000 and has supported its ministry and impact over the years. Many have learned music and shared the gift with their congregations and others, shining the light of Christ throughout Cuba.

Hillside Kids are memorizing 9 verses to go along with 9 emotions so they know they can call on God no matter what they are feeling!

The 1st verse to be memorized by 10/3 is 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

A calendar of verses was sent home last week. Put it in the fridge or next to your child’s bed & say it often. Kids in pre-K-4th grade who can say it from memory will earn a stuffed Bible bear!
