Jose’s new bike represents the opportunity for financial stability.
He plans to ride his bike as he pursues work, and anticipates commuting 10-15 miles a day once he finds employment. The no-cost bike he received from Upcycle Bikes through Matthew's House Ministry allows him to expand his job search—reaching opportunities that were previously too far away.
Fun Fact: Jose has family ties to Durango, Mexico—which made receiving a bike with the model name “Durango” a meaningful coincidence!
