In a clean, concise definition, what is a Christian? Now, if you were given the answer to that question, do you think someone living that kind of life would be good news to our day-to-day living? Approximately 68% of Americans claim to be Christian, which amounts to 235 million adults. A rather large number, yes? But our society and overall culture feel quite fractured and broken. So, is the darkness winning? Or maybe we should lean into what it means to be a Christian? In fact, we should back up and start with, what even is a Christian? Gather with me on Wednesday evening, 6:30pm, for a fantastic discussion. We'll grill some burgers and hot dogs, and provide some tasty drinks. These nights are for EVERYONE. This is an outdoor hangout at 3351 O’Brien Rd. SW, Walker. Great space for kids to play and all ages to engage in a much-needed conversation. With a rather important conversation, especially living in this topsy-turvy society, awash with a lot of empty words. And words without substance have left far too many people confused and... hurt. Night 3 of Love Walker Action Week= success!!

Painting, play ground clean up, and yard work were today’s projects. Many thanks to our friends at Roasted Sports Bar for providing us with pizza at the end of the night, and our friends at Standale Reformed Church for working so hard tonight- You are amazing at loving Walker!

TOMORROW is the last day, and we need all hands on deck! (Pun intend- one of the projects is painting a deck 😁) Meet tomorrow at Walker Community Park at 6:30pm. For those who need to be indoors in this heat, we have a project for you, too! Can’t wait to see you there!
