💜💚What an incredible day at our State of the Hospital event!💚💜

We had the opportunity to share updates on the progress we've made at Trinity Health Grand Rapids, celebrate the people who make our work possible, and discuss our vision for the future. Every achievement is a reflection of the dedication of our team and the support of our community.

This August, is proud to host its annual Band Together fundraising campaign, bringing together members, employees, and communities across Michigan and Florida to support life-changing pediatric and children's care programs.

One of this year's local beneficiaries is the Trinity Health Grand Rapids NICU, helping provide critical care and support for some of our community's smallest and most vulnerable patients.

Last year, this program raised $91,000 for its charity partners. This year, we're hoping to make an even bigger impact, and LMCU will match the first $15,000 in donations.

💜💚Celebrating one year with Saint Mary’s Foundation!💚💜

Over the past year, Ashley Owen has had the privilege of supporting a mission dedicated to advancing exceptional patient care, fostering meaningful community partnerships, and creating lasting impact through philanthropy.

This milestone is especially meaningful because the Foundation’s work is closely connected to a personal family experience. Ashley’s father is living with Lewy Body Dementia and has received outstanding care through the Trinity Health Hauenstein Neuroscience Center. Witnessing the compassion, expertise, and support provided to patients and families has reinforced the importance of the Foundation’s mission.

"When a loved one is facing a disease like Lewy Body Dementia, compassionate and expert care can make all the difference. Seeing the incredible support provided by the Hauenstein Neuroscience Center has made this mission deeply meaningful and serves as a daily reminder of the impact healthcare philanthropy has on families throughout our community."

💜🤱 Building Stronger Support for Growing Families

Thanks to donor support through Saint Mary's Foundation, our Birth Center recently welcomed local doulas and obstetric care teams together for a Doula (Re)Welcome Party focused on strengthening partnerships and enhancing the birthing experience for families in our community.

As Michigan expands access to doula services through Medicaid coverage, collaboration between doulas and healthcare providers is more important than ever. This gathering provided an opportunity to build relationships, share knowledge, and foster trust—all with the shared goal of ensuring every birthing person feels supported, empowered, and cared for throughout their pregnancy journey.
