Michigan Major Project Helping Special Needs Children since 1957! HEY! We want to help!!!! Applications are available through local Elks Lodges.

The Michigan Elks Association Major Project exists to provide financial assistance for special needs children to help them improve their lives! We offer opportunities for therapy camps (diabetes, arthritis, speech and a host of other camps that need the therapy needs of children!), equipment and individualized therapy ( equine therapy for an example ). Elks believe in offering help where none exists to give special needs children a hand up to reach their fullest potential! If you know of a special needs child (we offer our help from birth to age 18), contact your local Elks Lodge and ask to speak to the Major Project Chairman or the Exalted Ruler! You can also contact our Major Project office by emailing [email protected]

Last day for the Michigan Major Project booth at the Elks National convention!!! We are SO proud to represent the Michigan Elks!! We are thankful for our volunteers who worked the booth! It's fun and we get to meet so many amazing people! THANK YOU for sharing your time with us!

Big thank you to Chuck Pankey-Fanning for once again posting the volunteer sign up!!!

As we head out today for home, we also thank our amazing hospitality TEAM! Chuck Pankey Fanning, Mark Fanning, Ami and TJ Edmunds (and ALL of the Michigan volunteers!) for the outstanding work hosting the incredible Michigan Hospitality Room!!!
