We had a beautiful afternoon and a terrific turnout for the GRM Fall Fair this weekend! It was so much fun seeing our school community come out to enjoy the games, activities, treats, and time together.

We couldn’t have done it without the many parents, staff, GRM middle and high school students, and GRM alumni who volunteered their time. Thank you for making all the games and activities possible!

Special thanks to:

Koetsiers Greenhouse for donating beautiful fall decor for our Photo Booth

Grand Rapids Fire Department and Life EMS Ambulance for bringing vehicles for kids to explore

GRM HS students and parents going on the Peru service trip for doing face painting

The GRM junior class for popping all the popcorn for the fair

Mrs. Reed and Mr. Brown for all their behind-the-scenes help and support during the fair

Our GRPS security team for spending their Saturday afternoon with us

Everyone who donated cereal boxes or financial gifts to support the Fall Fair and PTA

And our PTA Fall Fair Committee for all the planning and work that went into making the afternoon happen!

We’re so grateful for this community and everyone who pitched in to make the Fall Fair a success!

Today, on Maria Montessori’s birthday, we’re celebrating the educators who carry her vision forward!

We were proud to support the 2nd Annual GRPS Montessori Symposium, bringing together educators from Grand Rapids Montessori, Ridgemoor Park Montessori, and North Park Montessori for a day of learning and collaboration. Our financial support helped make it possible to bring in Mark Nardo, a nationally recognized Montessori educator, for the keynote address.

We’re especially grateful for the dedicated Montessori educators who nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in our children every day. 💛

💛 Here’s a glimpse of what our scholars and families have to say about the incredible teachers and staff at Grand Rapids Montessori! 💛

For Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, families shared shout-outs celebrating the people who make our school community so special. This word cloud captures just some of the kindness, gratitude, and appreciation that came through again and again.

Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff for all you do each day for our scholars. 🍎✨

The GR Montessori PTA is celebrating March is Reading Month with a schoolwide Read-a-thon fundraiser! Throughout March, GRM scholars are collecting donations while building a love of reading and supporting our school community.

We’ll celebrate at the end of the month with schoolwide Read-a-thon assemblies where scholars gather and read together.

Our Green Team Student Chapter is hosting a pumpkin composting drop off site at our school through November 10! They’re partnering with Wormies again this year to make it happen.

Please remove all stickers, glue, candle wax, glitter etc. before dropping off your pumpkin. Drop off is by the shed that's behind the Children's House playground (southwest of our building - look for signs).
