New Makers of Grand Rapids NMGR is a participant-powered club with the goal of helping young makers get started on learning, making, and innovating in Grand Rapids area.

The World is our Makerspace. The New Makers of Grand Rapids is a club/organization for kids of all ages to explore the world of making. NMGR provide the space, time, resources and network for learning, making, and innovating with the help of the Grand Rapids community. The Maker Movement supports a STEM philosophy with an additional 'A', creating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathe

matics). The NMGR group strives to embrace all aspects of this, and beyond, as the interests of the membership demand. NMGR's mission is to fill in the gaps between available specific extracurricular programming available widely throughout the city and open-ended programming available in the school systems, and creating a dedicated membership whose input shapes the form the group takes. Dream, make, innovate. We are proud for all the support we have to not need membership cost! Thank you to everyone who has contributed.
