As the 2025-26 school year comes to a close, we have loved receiving heartfelt quotes and memories from our exchange students reflecting on their time in the U.S.

Every year, we send out a survey to ask our students how they felt about their experiences, and some of the responses were incredible. We are proud to share a couple of the answers!

Do you have something you would like to share about your experience? Send us a DM or put a comment below!

Are you currently hosting an exchange student with CETUSA? This Memorial Day Weekend is an ideal opportunity to share with your students the meaning of Memorial Day and the sacrifices made by fallen U.S. service members throughout history and up to present day.

As you enjoy the unofficial start of summer, we invite you to include your exchange student to participate in activities that honor our service members.

Happy National Brother’s Day!

A brother is someone who treats you like family, whether you are related by blood or not. A brother introduces you to laughs, weird snacks, different sports, and unforgettable memories. A brother gives the best hugs and always knows how to be there when you need support most.

To all the brothers, host brothers, step-brothers, and brothers-in-law — today we celebrate you and the special role you play in making others feel loved, welcomed, and part of the family!

May 21 is celebrated as World Day for Cultural Diversity — a day that recognizes the beauty of cultures around the world and the importance of learning from one another.

Established in 2002 by the United Nations, this day encourages peace, inclusion, and understanding while supporting cultural traditions, global connections, and human rights.

At CETUSA, we see the impact of cultural diversity every day through the experiences shared between exchange students, host families, schools, and communities. By opening hearts and homes to students from around the world, we help create lifelong friendships and a greater appreciation for the many cultures that make our world unique.

Would you consider embracing culture diversity in your own home? Visit https://www.cetusa.org/high-school-exchange-program/host-a-student/
