It's baaaaack! QTPOC Da Block, our free, all-ages block party centering chosen family and joy, hosted by the BIPOC Pride Committee of the Grand Rapids Pride Center is THIS SATURDAY August 22nd from 2PM to 8PM at GRPC: 343 Atlas Ave SE and the full block of Atlas Ave.

Please note that QTPOC Da Block! is a closed event for 2-SLGBTQ+ people of color, meaning we ask that our allies in the community find other ways to support, to allow QTPOC (q***r and trans people of color) to intentionally hold space with one another. You can support this event by volunteering for setup and takedown, donating items and resources, donating directly to the Pride Center, or sponsoring the event through a business or organization. We are pleased to announce the return of TRANS YOUTH GROUP! Curated for Trans, non-binary & gender expansive youth ages 13-17, TRANS YOUTH GROUP will take place EVERY 2ND THURSDAY from 6:30pm to 8pm STARTING TONIGHT at GRPC: 343 ATLAS AVE SE.

Friendly Reminder: ***No adults outside of GRPC Facilitators/Staff are allowed in the center during any youth or children’s groups***

Although it was nearly 2 months ago, we are still reeling from GRAND RAPIDS PRIDE FESTIVAL 2026. We've been sorting through all of our amazing photos & videos from this past June... and are finding ourselves truly overwhelmed with the beauty, grace, dignity and presence of you all for our 38th year.

The TRUE Pride of doing the work we do is being able to serve our community: sourcing & supplying the resources they need, assisting with their life journeys, being the advocates who show up when the world shuts down. This celebration of life, existence and all that counts is just the icing on a cake that we all get to bake together by just being our authentically beautiful selves. In Love. In Dedication. In Community

Two Weeks from Saturday: The GLOW UP Continues! QTPOC Da Block is a free, all-ages block party centering chosen family and joy, hosted by the BIPOC Pride Committee of the Grand Rapids Pride Center.

This annual function takes place on August 22nd, 2026 from 2PM to 8PM at 343 Atlas Ave SE and the block of Atlas Ave. There will be vendors, food, games, performances, and resources throughout the day. So bring a loved one and come party! We can't wait to share a few hours of love and unity with you.
