Community Reading Night
The first event in this series takes place next month!

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, in collaboration with the Michigan Hispanic Theatre Company, will be reading two plays to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. This event will take place in Everse Hall inside Grand Rapids Civic Theatre on Tuesday, September 22nd from 7-9pm. This is a free table-read event, and the plays will be read by members of the Michigan Hispanic Theatre Company. There is limited space for this event, so registration is required at https://grct.ludus.com/show_page.php?show_id=200540940. Come and listen to actors read two incredible and important stories selected by the Michigan Hispanic Theatre Company. Both works will be read in Spanish.

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, en colaboración con la Compañía de Teatro Hispano de Michigan, presenta una noche especial de lecturas dramatizadas para celebrar el Mes de la Herencia Hispana. El evento se llevará a cabo el martes 22 de septiembre de 7:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Everse Hall, dentro del Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. Esta actividad gratuita ofrecerá al público la oportunidad de escuchar a actores y actrices dar vida a dos historias poderosas y conmovedoras cuidadosamente seleccionadas por la Compañía de Teatro Hispano de Michigan. Ambas obras serán presentadas en español, celebrando la riqueza de nuestra lengua, cultura y tradición narrativa. El espacio es limitado, por lo que se requiere registro previo. Hoy en Calder Plaza no solo bailamos, no solo actuamos, no solo cantamos... CELEBRAMOS SER LATINOS!!!!

Desde Michigan Hispanic Theatre Company salimos con el corazón lleno. Lleno de orgullo, de banderas, de abrazos y de comunidad.
