Today we share sad news regarding the recent death of Laura Robinson. Laura was the sister of the Sleeping Angels Endowment co-founder, Katherine Robinson Schoenborn. She also was a proud aunt, caring daughter, and ceaseless advocate and philanthropist on behalf of the Endowment. Laura loved her two nephews profoundly and carried her three stillborn nephews, the reason for the Endowment, in her heart. Please offer a moment of silence or a comforting wish for her and the entire Robinson family. Peace to you, Laura.

Thanks for posting about our success this year, Spectrum Health. What a fun event to raise funds for such a special endowment.

Nearly 290 golfers, many wearing cleaver costumes, hats and T-shirts, participated in the Ladies Tee Party on June 19 at Gracewil Golf Club. The event raised more than $34,000 for the Sleeping Angels Endowment of the Spectrum Health Foundation. Funds from the endowment help with memorial and other expenses after a stillbirth. Thank you to the sponsors, participants and volunteers for making this a successful event.

When we began this journey eight years ago we never imagined how incredible the Ladies Tee Party Charity Golf Scramble would become. We also never imagined that this event would exist forever. Sadly, the time has come for our Volunteer Board of Directors to share the news that the 2015 Ladies Tee Party was the last one.

We feel proud of the conversation we've started in West Michigan about stillbirth. And, we're prouder still to know that the Sleeping Angels Endowment will continue on in perpetuity (heck you can always contribute to the cause at the Spectrum Health Foundation website, just designate Sleeping Angels Endowment). Thanks for making this dream a reality. Farewell, we'll miss everyone we've met along the way and the incredible, goofy, vibrant event that we've cultivated for so long.

Wow! What an amazing, gorgeous, generous day we experienced on Friday. Thanks to 80+ volunteers and 290 golfers we netted more than $34,000 for the Sleeping Angels Endowment of Spectrum Health Foundation. Powerful. And, a ridiculous amount of fun! Every sponsor, donor, player, volunteer, and supporter has our deepest gratitude and respect. Please share and tags yourselves!

Imagine the Ladies Tee Party without all of the costumes and matching outfits...not as much fun, right? We owe all of this craziness to a group of ladies who bring the fun wherever they go. They arrived at our first outing 8 years ago in costume and set the bar high...over the years they've continued to golf (winning the event several times!) and dress with verve and humor (pictured in their rain gear last year). Thanks, ladies! Your legacy lives on in the goofy outfits donned by so many players each year.

These ladies had so much fun playing blackjack while seated on the Great Lakes Pub Cruiser last year...and we are thrilled to announce that Mr. Pub will be back again on Friday, June 19! Yesterday was a lovely day to bless all of the mothers in our lives. Today, join us in blessing all of the mothers of sleeping angels. We know that their hearts ache for all of the dreams that never got to take shape. We hold you close in our hearts as we plan the Ladies Tee Party to honor you and yours.
