Heritage Hill Association

Heritage Hill Association Providing neighbors a way of building a healthy, historically-preserved community in which people can live in a stable and supportive environment.

The Heritage Hill Association formed in 1968 to stop a variety of urban renewal projects that would have demolished 75% of the neighborhood. Its purpose is to provide neighbors a way of collectively building a healthy, historically preserved community where people can live and work in a secure and stable environment. Issues include land use, crime and safety concerns, preservation, parking and tra

ffic, education and other quality of life issues. Monthly HHA Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM. All HHA meetings are open to the public. During the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings will be virtual only. Please email the office for the Zoom link if you’d like to attend.

Neighbors, you can help make Heritage Hill better prepared for emergencies just by taking a short (7-10min) survey!

Some background:
On June 11th, the Heritage Hill Environmental Club partnered with the City of Grand Rapids Office of Emergency Management to host an Emergency Preparedness Information & Listening Session at Cornerstone Church.
As a follow-up to that event, we are asking for your feedback on: The social cohesion in our neighborhood, which is a key factor in community resilience;
The levels of personal emergency preparedness in our neighborhood;
How and to what extent our residents have experience or expertise in emergency response; and the type of support most needed by our community when localized crises strike.
