It’s officially spooky season and in lieu of a cemetery walk this fall we decided to host a spooktacular night of haunted history paired with creepy cocktails at our favorite Two James Grand Rapids ! Our resident historian will be doing a Grand Rapids Most Haunted presentation paired with cocktail specials! Come learn about our haunted history and enjoy first round on us! Michigan Street has been working on providing a free shuttle service to and from downtown this summer and there are only a few opportunities left to take advantage!

The shuttle is free on Fridays from 5pm-10pm and connects Pauly’s W**e Experience and Civic Theatre. This is a great opportunity for Midtown residents to experience downtown GR without the hassle of parking, and enjoy some of the nightlife of Michigan Street with safe transportation!

They will be looking for your feedback on if we want a consistent shuttle service in the future so please take this opportunity to try it out and give feedback!

Join us for Dream Big, a free community event designed to inspire children to imagine their futures and discover the many possibilities available to them right here in Grand Rapids.
Through engaging storytimes, creative activities, hands-on experiences, and interactive community partner booths, children will explore big ideas about their futures while building confidence, curiosity, and hope.

Families can enjoy:

🌟 Creative activities and imaginative play experiences
🌟 Interactive stations focused on wellness, mindfulness, nutrition, financial literacy, and more

Houseman Playground Hangs on the second Saturdays this summer!!

First one is June 13th and will be co-hosted by which means Dr. Annie will be there with coffee and bagels!

Come snag a bite while the kids play, we will be there from 9am-11am!

Bring your clippings, clones, and propagates and join us May 30th for our Midtown Plant Swap! Indoor and outdoor plants and plant related materials can be traded and swapped and Habitat Hero will also be giving away native plants and seeds!
