Last week’s Grounding In Nature: An Evening of Connection and Wellness reminded us of the power of slowing down and being in community together. 🌿💛

Women gathered to co-create a healing and authentic space to rest, breathe deeply, connect with self and others, and practice wellness in community. It was beautiful to witness people offering and receiving support, releasing deep breaths, sharing reflections, and staying afterwards to continue building meaningful relationships.

Wellness is not a destination — it’s a practice woven into our everyday lives. And culturally-responsive wellness includes having spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.

Thank you to everyone who gifted us with your presence and energy, to our facilitators Karolina DeLange and Stacy Stout, and to the support of Blandford Nature Center, Yarrow Joy Wellness, and the City of Grand Rapids Neighborhood Match Fund. ✨

We hope you’ll join us next time. 🌱
