Johnson Center for Philanthropy, the cohort included individuals, couples and family members looking to increase the impact of their giving.

Congratulations to our graduating Youth Grant Committee seniors! 🎓 These local students have given their time and talent to make an impact for local youth through philanthropy. By assessing local youth needs, developing grant criteria and awarding funds to youth-serving organizations, they have engaged in the grantmaking process from start to finish.

We KNOW these students will go on to do great things and we hope what they learned stays with them as they pursue their next goals.

We’re rooting for you Izzy, Alex, Claire, Kenna, Bea, Christian, Kimani, Elaina and Karina!

We've recently partnered with the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy to help our donor partners create their giving plan! The Impact Accelerator Cohort is a program designed to help thoughtful givers increase their impact.

Throughout the course of four weeks, our donor partners will:
👉Join peers for facilitated online learning
👉Learn the landscape of philanthropy and different giving approaches
👉Clarify values and interests
👉Draft an actionable giving plan and hear about others' commitments

Last weekend, our staff and members of our Board of Trustees celebrated former Community Foundation President Diana Sieger at . Cecilia Music Center’s Helen DeVos Legacy Award Gala. Diana was honored for her transformative leadership during her tenure at Grand Rapids Community Foundation.

The award recognizes women whose impact has expanded and enriched the cultural life of West Michigan. Congratulations, Diana!
