A very special day yesterday as the Young Scout Retreat had over 50 attendees and the Scouts learned about Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Juan Diego, prayed the Rosary, went to Holy Mass with the residents at Saint Anne's Home and spent time with the residents as Kevin Matthews shared his life changing experience after finding "Broken Mary" Thanks to all the leaders and adults that made this an awesome retreat.

The good works of the Saint Louis, MO and Grand Rapids, MI Catholic Committees on Scouting continue to provide the youth in Uganda with meaningful, safe, healthy and nutritious scouting experiences. We were able to send 3,275,000 Uganda Schillings ($930) this Christmas and the safe drinking water well is being installed. Please keep Father Caesar and his youth ministry work in Uganda in your prayers throughout the year. Thanks to all who have contributed and purchased the Chiro Camp Beads that you proudly wear on your uniforms!

Many thanks to our Scouts and volunteers for attending this year's International Awareness Workshop held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ada, MI.
Scouts had the opportunity to meet together as friends in the Catholic Church, linking the Catholic Church and the Scouting Movement from all over the world. This was a great chance for Scouts to meet priests, deacons, religious sisters and lay people who have been involved with missionary work.
Thank you for making this event a success and to Aaron Sweeney for the photos of the event.
