This fall, he’ll be starting as a student at Davenport University. He pursued this internship to understand what it takes to build infrastructure for the communities he wants to help.

Calling all West Michigan artists! 🎨

Habitat for Humanity of Kent and Northern Muskegon Counties and Friends of Grand Rapids Parks are proud to participate in ArtPrize 2026 with our upcoming interactive exhibit, “Community Starts with Home.”

Displayed across three downtown Grand Rapids parks, the installation will feature live-painted doors showcasing local talent alongside interactive community doors. We are currently seeking three artists to paint one door each on Saturday, September 19.

A big thank you to the High School Youth Ministry group from St. Louis First Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood, Missouri, for volunteering with us recently!😁

The group spent two days helping at our ReStore and construction sites, tackling projects like home finishing work at Pleasant Hills, landscaping at our headquarters, and organizing inventory at the store.

We were especially excited to welcome them back after hosting a group from the same church four years ago!🥳
