For spring, we are supporting the Grand Rapids Community Food Club! You can give donations to any member through the end of April! If you'd like to donate monetarily, you can venmo the club and we will go shopping at the end of April.

What in the ✨heck✨ have we been up to lately?

We have been meeting and celebrating together in optimism, of course. We also collected donations for St. Gianna's No Cost Baby Boutique. Our president was lucky enough to tour the boutique when dropping off items and even heard about some volunteer opportunities! For our end of year projects we collected gifts for kids in foster care at DA Blodgett St Johns and attended their annual wrapping event!

As always, we had a great time volunteering with the Kent County Parks Department! Kent County Parks Foundation welcomes us each year and we love putting optimism into action!

A couple things to note:
- We will be passing out ordered gear at our in-person meetings! If you can’t attend a meeting (or are not from the area) to get your gear in (most likely) March, just shoot us a message at [email protected] and let us know. We will then work to get your gear sent to you!
- Make sure to place your orders by NEXT FRIDAY February 16.
- This is one of our club fundraisers! A portion of all purchases will come back to the club. So feel free to share this out to your networks!
- If you'd like to support the club monetarily, but don't necessarily want gear...you can donate to our club right on Venmo at -OptimistClub.

What a wonderful holiday season we’ve had!

At our November meeting, we collected gifts for D.A. Blodgett - St. John's.

Then attended their wrapping event at the beginning of December! We wrapped gifts for so many kiddos.

Last night, we continued our annual tradition of volunteering with Kids' Food Basket and helped sort apples for sack suppers!
