🏀 2026 Travel Season Recap 🏀
The 2026 travel season for the Grand Rapids Area Basketball Association has come to an exciting close, and we couldn’t be more proud of our athletes!
This season, our boys and girls teams in grades 4th–8th represented our community with incredible effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
From practices to competitive tournaments and thrilling game moments, our players showed dedication to improving their skills and supporting one another on and off the court.
👏 A huge thank you to our players for their hard work and commitment all season long.
👏 Thank you to our volunteer coaches who gave their time and knowledge to help these athletes grow.
👏 Thank you to the parents and families for the support, travel, and encouragement throughout the season.
Because of all of you, this season was filled with growth, great memories, and a lot of basketball fun! We are proud of every athlete who wore the GR jersey this year.
We’re already looking forward to another great season ahead!

🏀 Help Send Our Boys to State! 🏀
Our boys basketball team has worked incredibly hard this season and has earned the opportunity to compete at the State Tournament! This is an amazing accomplishment for our players, coaches, and community.
While Grand Rapids Chevrolet and your True North Chevy Dealers made a very generous donation. There is a breakdown to what is costs to go to State in the link below. We are asking for help from our community to make this trip possible. Donations will go towards tournament expenses so our athletes can focus on representing our community with pride.

The Grand Rapids Thunderhawks boys basketball are headed to the Minnesota State High School League Boys Basketball State Tournament after capturing the Section 7AAA Championship with an exciting 60–53 victory over Hibbing.
