True story, do you agree?

When we stick our necks out, put our money on the line and stand up for what we believe in, then we can change the world.

Just ask the bears who suffered for years on a bear bile farm in Vietnam.

Animals Asia had the chance to rescue them and asked for your help to make it possible. Thanks to you, all nine bears were freed from tiny cages, received the health care they needed, were integrated with other bears and now live in large, outdoor enclosures.

We'll care for these bears for the rest of their lives. From now on, their needs come first.

Together we are so much stronger. Together we can change the world.

The last mile really can be the hardest.

After enduring more than a decade in tiny cages, after travelling 1,200km to sanctuary, after regaining their health and strength, after learning how to be bears and play with their own species - after overcoming all this, stepping outside was a huge challenge.

Thankfully, hundreds of hours of love and care has given these brave bears the confidence they needed.

Now all six of the bears have learned the outside world won't hurt them and they all live in communities of bears just like them.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has helped the bears get to this point. Animals Asia really can't do anything without your support. And together, just look what we were able to do for these six bears who desperately needed us. Thank you

Friends, we surpassed our $1,000 moon-bear fundraising goal for the 2018 Pet Expo! We ultimately raised $1,190, which will greatly help a once badly abused moon-bear and help to end the cat and dog meat trade.

Day ONE of our moon bear fundraiser - our weekend goal is $1K, folks we raised $900 just today 👏!!!! Only $100 to go and anything else above & beyond that is just an amazing bonus for the moon bear rescue and rehabilitation!

Thank you to all my wonderful volunteers who helped plant seeds of education and helped raise funds to make others lives more comfortable and of course to the generous attendees who opened up their minds and hearts.

We volunteer to support "healing without harm".

Over 14,000 beautiful moon bears are known to be locked in coffin or crush cages right now, and cruelly milked for their own gallbladder bile to harvest an acid, ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), to be used for "alleged" medical uses. This practice has been proven to be the worse form of torture on any sentient being. They withhold food and water to allow for more bile flow and these bears have such a strong constitution that they virtually never perish, living this nightmare for up to 30 *years* flattened in a rusty cage.

However ...the good news is that there is only one premiere non-profit (501c3) working tirelessly day to day to help put an end to this practice and rescue and rehabilitate these endangered beauties for the rest of their lives; Animals Asia! I am proud to volunteer for Animals Asia via my local volunteer group West Michigan Animals Asia Volunteer Group.

VIDEO: This is how bears should live - at their own pace, free in nature, in tune with the seasons...

Sadly, thousands of bears trapped on bile farms in China and Vietnam aren't so lucky. They don't get to hibernate. They don't get to express natural behaviour. They don't get to live pain-free on their own terms.

Instead they are held for decades in metal cages, devoid of any stimulation but the pain of bile extraction.

No living creature deserves this.
