Recently, we said farewell to our beloved long-time resident, Michael Coulier. He brought so much warmth and kindness to everyone he met. Michael had a gentle spirit and a love for all kinds of music. We always enjoyed his company at our weekly prayer services and Bible study. Just last week, we gathered for a heartfelt memorial in his honor. Michael's two sisters, brother, and brother-in-law were able to join us, along with many residents. May his memory be eternal.

Welcome to FOCUS Grand Rapids!

FOCUS Grand Rapids is dedicated to serving vulnerable adults through housing, meals, compassionate care, and supportive services that restore dignity and hope.

Today, our primary focus is on supporting and preserving Shepherds of Independence, a residential community that provides stable housing and compassionate care for adults experiencing housing instability and physical or mental health challenges.

FOCUS Grand Rapids is an operating division of FOCUS North America, a ministry affiliated with the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. All of FOCUS North America's services are provided without discrimination of any kind. We do not require any faith commitment from anyone we serve.
