We want to take a moment to highlight and thank one of our partners in this month’s fundraiser for In the Image. Women's Health Collective is run by women, and provides integrative, customized healthcare for women. They offer a multitude of inclusive, non-judgmental, and supportive options to meet your needs. Some of them include gynecological health, s*x education, reiki therapy, dietitians, acupuncture, and yoga therapy. They provide care for those who have been assigned female at birth, as well as those who identify as women, non-binary, or gender q***r. They are diverse, inclusive, and provide a truly holistic approach to health care. It has been such an honor working with them! Please check out their website to find out more!

Citizens Leadership Council is excited to host a women’s hygiene drive to support In the Image the whole month of May!

In the Image is a local, non-profit organization that allows people in need of clothing and household necessities to shop for free, with hope, dignity, and respect. We will be collecting baby wipes, tampons, and pads. These are some of the most requested items yet the least donated. Please see the attached flier for convenient, drop off locations! All items must be new and unopened.

We need YOU! Please consider joining us to support the women in our community who need it the most.

Today our executives alongside FOE Family Over Everything executives, met with officials from The City of Grand Rapids to discuss what’s next.

We will continue to forge new relationships, seek new resources and apply the necessary pressures. Our hope is that we can form a genuine partnership with city officials and be the boots on the ground that this city so desperately needs.

To our brothers and sisters, our fellow citizens, please know that we see you, we hear you, and we care for you! We will not abandon you and we will continue to advocate for you!
