Our deepest condolences to the family of Patrick Lyoya who lost his life following a traffic stop in Grand Rapids, Mi on April 4, 2022. The Community is seeking full transparency from the Grand Rapids Police Department and Chief Winstrom. In solidarity with his family and our community, we ask GRPD to release ALL footage involving the traffic stop which ended this young man’s life.

We would like to take time to congratulate our Senior Cacia Mitchell! Cacia had been a beacon of light in the community. Her countless hours serving inner city youth made an impact that is everlasting. Cacia not only rocked it with National Honors Society she was a killer on the Tennis court. Words cannot express what I’m feeling right now. Monica Reyna has a heart of gold. I met Monica 10 years ago working at a gym. Monica has always been a friend and I hold this friendship close to my heart. Monica helped me with my breakthrough for healing and guided me to the path of trusting and believing. I’ve prayed my entire life for the life I have now and for the work that I do. Thank you to everyone that donated! Monica Reyna, RMT Is where life changing healing happens! Thank you again. I cannot express thoroughly in words how immensely thankful I am to my clients, that not only gave generously to themselves by honoring their needs to start/continue the healing process, but for their tremendous generosity to Kya and I Am Deeply Rooted. Together, we were able to donate $1,700 to this amazing non-profit organization.
