Saturday, August 15 you can turn a $10 donation for Northwest Food Pantry into $30!!!
Please go to Meijer on ALPINE AVENUE Saturday, August 15
Look for the 'Meijer Simply Give' card display (photo). Take one of the 'Simply Give Cards' to the cashier & put $10 onto the card. Meijer will put an additional $20 onto that card & now it is $30 that will be given to Northwest Food Pantry to help us stock our shelves so we can serve clients facing food disparity.

Remember: Alpine Meijer is Northwest Food Pantry's partnering Meijer store! Hope you'll be a part of the 'help' our clients need.

Husband & wife team, Larry & Lois, faithfully pick up bread donations weekly & bring the items to the Northwest Food Pantry ultimately blessing families in need. It takes many hands to meet the needs of our clients; Larry & Lois are some of those “hands”. We are so grateful for their help💕

Our parish supports the work and ministry of two local food pantries: The Other Way Ministries and Northwest Food Pantry, collecting items for each on alternating weeks.

How to get involved:

There are three crucial ways our community can assist in the pantries’ vital work: through donations of pantry items, financial donations, and by volunteering!

- Donate pantry/personal care items: View the pantry needs list online or in the narthex on the bulletin board at the base of the stairs near the baptismal font. Donations can be placed in the brown/tan woven baskets placed around the narthex. View the needs list here: https://strobertchurch.org/announcements/food-pantry-list/.

- Make a financial gift/pledge: If you are in a position to do so, financial contributions are the most efficient way to support our pantries. Donated funds allow the pantry to purchase food based on real-time needs. Visit the Donate page of our website here - https://strobertchurch.org/about-us/donate/, and choose "Food Bank" from the drop-down menu.

- Volunteer! Most pantries run on volunteer power. The pantries we support are always in need of volunteers!

We are blessed to have the “Thursday Team Volunteers“. This team faithfully serves behind the scene to organize, clean, mop floors, stock shelves, and so much more. Whenever there is a “special project”, there is the Thursday Volunteer Team to our rescue! See the ‘before & after’ evidence😍

Meet one of Northwest Food Pantry's loyal volunteers, Mike.
Mike picks up food donations from a local store & brings them to the Pantry so we can get the food to our clients. You can't imagine how many people Mike's efforts have blessed!!
He also is our 'recycle guy' who always recycles our piles of carboard. Be like Mike --- volunteer at Northwest Food Pantry!
