💜 Meet Goosy (aka Lucy) 💜

At 7 years old, Goosy is in the sweet spot of life—past the puppy chaos and full of love to give. Older dogs like Goosy are often overlooked, but they make some of the very best companions. What you see is what you get: a gentle, loyal girl who already knows how to be part of a family.

For the past two years, Goosy has lived in a loving home with children ages 6 and up. She adores kids, has lived peacefully with small dogs and cats, and is both housebroken and crate trained. She's not looking for endless excitement—she's looking for a family to love.

Like many Dobermans, Goosy can be a little shy at first and protective of the people she cares about, but once she trusts you, her sweet and devoted personality shines. Her favorite things are being close to her people, relaxing in a calm home, and enjoying a good natural bone.

Goosy deserves more than a kennel. She deserves a soft bed, a family to call her own, and the chance to spend her golden years surrounded by love. Please don't let her age make you scroll past—she may just be the best friend you've been searching for.

We are beyond full. Every kennel is filled, and the calls, messages, and pleas for help keep coming. Dogs who have nowhere else to go are waiting for a chance to enter our program, but we cannot say yes without more foster homes and adopters stepping up.

Right now, fostering truly saves lives. Opening your home, even temporarily, gives a dog safety, love, and a second chance. And if you’ve been thinking about adopting, this is the time. We have so many incredible dogs waiting patiently for someone to choose them.

Behind every face is a dog who deserves comfort, stability, and a forever family. We can’t do this without our community.

Roro is a happy, social 1-year-old boy looking for a forever family of his own! He’s friendly with people of all ages, gets along with most dogs, and even does well with cats.

Hoagie is a sweet 4-year-old boy still waiting for his forever home 💙 He warms up quickly, loves ear rubs, walks nicely on leash, and his foster says he is potty trained and patiently waits to go outside.
