Come out and see us tomorrow (Friday) from 5-7 pm. We're serving up brats and sloppy joes for a good cause!

We can't wait to kick off the Summer Solstice and Wooden Boat Festival this Friday! ☀

Festivities start with a speaker series Friday afternoon, followed by an evening by the harbor with the Lions Club fundraiser BBQ, free ice cream from Superior Creamery, contra dance, poetry celebration, and more!

Do you have eyeglasses and/or cell phones laying around that you can no longer use? Drop them by Grand Marais State Bank or Grand Marais State Bank of Tofte to recycle them! You don't even need to know what prescription the glasses have - we take them to a center in Wisconsin that tests and labels them. For more information on the program, please see the link in the comments.

Visit Lake Superior Trading Post on Saturday, December 13th to send letters to Santa and holiday greetings for free, courtesy of the Letteracy Deck! They will be available from 11 am to 3 pm, and the event is indoors.

Letteracy Deck is also giving away 50 John Beargrease "Trail Mail" stationary sets. Send a letter by dogsled - how cool is that!
