We had an amazing night at the 5th annual Coldwater Foundation banquet. Friends and family came out to celebrate all that God has done this ministry season and to raise funds for the upcoming year. We are grateful to all who joined us that evening. We send out our heartfelt thanks to you all!!

The banquet is one month away, and the excitement is ramping up!

Here is the information for this year’s fall banquet:

When: Saturday, December 6th @ 6:00 PM, doors open at 5:00 PM.

Where: Pinewood Weddings and Events

Cambridge, MN 55008

Cost: No cost to you! Your ticket is being paid for by generous sponsors.*

We will have a night of delicious food and stories of how God is changing lives at Coldwater.

Please pray for our new 2025 staff as they spend 3-weeks out in the wilderness! These trips are a lot of work and gives opportunities to focus on leadership capabilities, serve and work with one another, face challenges, and see God in clear and profound ways. Pray for safety. Pray for opportunities to grow. Pray for courage to face all that comes their way, both in the wilderness and in areas of their character and faith.

Here’s the new Coldwater staff for 2025 (minus one that they’ll pick up along the way). 21-days out in the wilderness seems like a great way to kick-off the summer, wouldn’t you say?? Our return staff will arrive to welcome them home in a few weeks.

We are offering an open enrollment Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) Course, taught by Tom Burroughs of Sierra Rescue International. He is the most thorough and engaging instructor we’ve had in our years of running this course and are thrilled to have him back to teach for another year.

Come for the 4-day entry level WAFA course, or the full 8-day WFR course for extensive hands on training in backcountry medicine.

WFR | Dates: June 7-14 | Cost: $815
WAFA | Dates: June 7-10 | $550

Course is located at Mink Lake Wilderness Camp in Grand Marais, MN
