We are two weeks away from kicking off the 2026 Grand Marais Farmers Market! Farmers have been hard at work in the greenhouses and those plant babies are ready to get to you soon. Make sure we’re on your calendar!

Thursdays 4:30-6pm, June 18-Oct 29.
Our season extension last year was such a hit that we’ve added two weeks of markets this year. Hooray!

🥬Help needed at the farmers market this season!🫛

Despite this cold spring, the Grand Marais farmers market season will be kicking off in less than a month! We are looking for people to fill a couple volunteer roles at the market this summer: leading kids activities and greeting people at the welcome table. Fill out the form if you're interested, and please spread the word.

Join us at the market this season!

Are you interested in selling at the Grand Marais Farmers Market this season? Drop in during our Vendor Open House to learn more! We will be there to answer your questions about farm sales, cottage food licensing, scheduling, and more.

The market will run June 18-Oct 29th, every Thursday, from 4:30-6pm. Vendors can pay $50 for the season or $10 per day to sell at the market.

We are excited to announce a grant opportunity for food producers in Cook County. The Cook County Local Producer Support Fund aims to to increase the amount of food being grown/ produced and distributed in our community. New and established businesses are encouraged to apply.

Thanks for the awesome feature of our food equipment library, University of Minnesota Extension!

From harvest buckets to canning equipment, a new food equipment library in Grand Marais is helping Cook County enjoy local foods all year long.

Launched by Northwoods Food Project with support from University of Minnesota Extension's Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships (RSDP), the library gives community members access to more than 25 pieces of equipment for preparing, processing and preserving food.
