Individuals who would like additional support in learning about or applying for other available food resources and nutrition support programs are also always welcome to call Cook County Public Health and Human Services to request an intake appointment (218-387-3620).

There will be no more Tuesday distributions through Ruby's Pantry.

We are very sad to see this impactful community food source go away.

We are grateful for the volunteers who have supported Ruby’s Pantry in Cook County for roughly 12 years! We are also thankful for everyone who has received a share! A special thank you to Spirit of the Wilderness for the many years of leadership in coordinating Cook County Ruby’s Pantry!

Please look for a future post that shares alternative food supports in Cook County.

We have heard that locations in our region were informed today that they will no longer be receiving food from Ruby’s Pantry, officially closing those sites. Our site may also be cut or Ruby's Pantry may not be operating. We have not to our knowledge received the same email that others have received. We do know that our contact at Ruby's Pantry as of today is no longer working at Ruby's Pantry. We wanted to give everyone as much heads up as possible to plan that we may not be providing a distribution in April (or possibly in the future). As soon as we receive official word either way, we will share an update on the Cook County Ruby’s Pantry page.
